We really loved this place. It’s one of the only cafes/bakeries which opens at 8 a.m. The service was very good and client-oriented. We didn’t understand some of the dishes in French and they showed us menu in English. Focaccia was really good as well as the pain in chocolate 😍

Amazing aubergines parmigiana, huge portion and super flavoursome. Friendly staff who speak English (and French of course). Very reasonably priced. Toilet outside, round the corner and up a few steps from the restaurant.

I am still thinking about this place 2 years later... We visited in summer of 2023 while there for a day on a cruise, and I had the absolute best pistachio croissant that ever existed and amazingly smooth and yummy coffee. We will definitely return again one day soon!

Stayed in Villefranche for 5 days and BAKARO bakery was our favourite. Especially for coffee lovers, best in town Tha staff was lovely with us and our baby boy

For sûre best coffee in Côte Azur. Amazing espresso and cappuccino. To try différent lattes. If you have chance you could see the professional bikers love to come here. Personally I saw Pogacar and friends, several times

My and my wife were really glad to give it a shot because we don’t usually eat at “shopping street” restaurants because we consider a lot of them being tourist traps or just really basic food which is the oposite we want to eat while in France. The place options are simple, yes, but you can taste they take effort into making each panini, salad or bread, as they all tasted amazing, the coffee with the cannoli at the end was also a really good way of saying good bye with a full stomach and a smile in the face- Service
